By caring about others, not only that we have less inner room for fear to take root, but also we «travel lighter» nurturing a sense of meaning and inner well-being. «Giving» is a way of linking our thoughts with abundance and gratefulness, leading to positive feelings of «enough going around».

In extending our help to others we are reducing the space of isolation, fear and scarcity occupying our minds, shifting our attention to the external world towards abundance and prosperity, a wonderful way to bolster a sense of connection and belonging. The act of generosity has a huge impact on our emotional state, creating a sense of abundance and dissolving inner feelings of worries, insecurities and fears.
The paradox of being generous is that, on the one hand, it makes us softer fading away fears and anxieties and on the other hand, we are becoming stronger in shaping our mindset that we are part of something greater than ourselves creating ripple effects of positivity and goodwill.
In the act of offering any resource such as time, love, education, kind words, support or attention, it works as if our hearts expand making space for compassion and empathy and connecting to the needs of other people. Expanding our generosity to others is a way of believing that life is abundant and what a better way to do it than creating a positive impact on society.
