Should we have the desire of growing, developing and expand our life, then nurturing our inner world is key essential. Like a tree needs several factors – soil, water, sun, wind, etc – in order to grow to its maximum potential so is the process to expand our internal self which will then impact our external reality. The bigger and more strongly our inner being, the better the results in our external world.
An expanded inner self will allow the individual to grow in different areas, helping us to understand ourselves better, to develop our skills and talents, as well as building resilience. When we nurture our inner world, we are also more likely to be happy and fulfilled. Like a tree with well grounded roots, a developed self will face adversity with more resources and tools.
We can nurture our internal being in many different forms:
- Meditation
- Journaling
- Reading
- Studying
- Spending time in nature
- Connecting with others
- Doing sports
- Contemplating art
- Being more curious
- Asking questions
- Observing and learning from others without judgment
- Active listening
- Travelling
- Meeting other cultures
These are only some of the many different ways to grow our mental, spiritual, emotional, more authentic being. Of course, the impact in our everyday life is significant in time improving mental, spiritual and emotional health, increased self-awareness, improved relationships, expansion of imagination, creativity and productivity. Overall, nurturing our inner world is essential for our well-being and success in all areas of our lives. By taking some time every single day to focus on our mental and emotional health, we can improve our overall quality of life.
What places would you travel to?
What questions would you ask now that you did not before?
What is the perfect natural landscape you mentally love?
May you nurture your inner self to improve and get better and better and better.
