In order to succeed in different areas in life is indispensable to accept and then make certain changes in mindset. Even though some truths may be difficult to accept, the fact of becoming aware of them, but most importantly, embracing them will save us a lot of frustrations and suffering along the way. Embracing such truths will make our journey much lighter and enjoyable, gaining confidence in our own skills and abilities.

Let yourself be vulnerable.
Nowadays, the intellect level in general is much higher than before and it is still rising as we move to the information era. Nonetheless, there is no person know-it-all, control-it-all or be-it-all on the planet. Embracing the idea of being and feeling vulnerable is powerful and contrary to the popular belief, it makes stronger instead of weak.
By accepting being vulnerable we are prone to take measured risks, be open to the unknown and accept ourselves exactly as we are. In doing so, we are simply accepting that we are human, and as such, we make mistakes and have emotions. More importantly, being authentic even we are fearful is powerful and make us grow from within. Vulnerability also feed our creativity to take new forms.
Allowing our true self to flourish will also have the powerful effect to connect and attract the right people, events, circumstances into our life, doing unique things true to ourselves. This is when our courage emerges shaping our life to the better.
Failure and mistakes are part of the process
Failure is a word that has a ground negative connotation and of course, to our ears is signal of alarm and this is why we tend to be away from it, we do not want it, we do not like it in our life. However, there is no perfect human being on planet earth and as such, we all have failures and make mistakes in our lives, this is a fact, period.
When failure comes across, it is a golden opportunity to learn, to grow, to transcend the obstacle and become stronger. This is the only way to go after your vision in life, your dreams, this is the only path to your next level. Even the greatest in history in any endeavour have faced turbulent moments to then achieve tremendous success. Assuming this reality will give you strength to stay motivated after making mistakes.
Facing and embracing discomfort
It became an everyday mantra, however, we must face and feel uncomfortable in a regular basis in order to grow. Do things that you are afraid of, things that intimidate you or simply that make you feel uncomfortable will inevitable make you become better, stronger and more powerful. In those challenging moments is when true growing happen: at first it may seem totally new or ridiculous or disorienting but as we keep practicing and improving you then gain confidence, like any other skill.
The rest of our life apply the same pattern. We have to expose ourselves to the uncomfortable regularly to learn, grow and eventually evolve personally and professionally.
Nothing is forever
Everything is change. Life keeps changing, people keep changing. We tend to think that we are in control of everything in our life and all of a sudden, something changes and we need to make adjustments to keep on track. That is life. Relationships change, jobs change, technology changes, our routines change even when we do not want it.
So, embracing and welcoming change liberate us from resisting this uncomfortable truth. When things go against our will, we are forced to adapt to the new scenario, carry on and find new ways to do things. This is when we are becoming stronger, learning, growing and expanding our possibilities in life.
Of course, going through all this process will bring pain, discomfort, unpleasant situations. Braking old ways of living or habits will place ourselves outside of our comfort zone, however, by changing our mentality and the way we look at them, we will shift our perspective about them.
